TCL 2006 Open House Scheduled for January 6th at the Highland Middle School

IT'S TIME FOR DRUM CORPS !!!!!

This Friday at the Highland Middle School 8pm-11:pm will be our first rehearsal/open house for the 2006 season.....

We are planning on having some refreshments as we all get back on track with the 2006 musical book as well as discussing plans for some new music to add.  This week, I will be finalizing a few things with the instructional staff as well as the rest of the administration.

I have already done some advertising with some local radio stations and I am in contact with the Times Herald Record to see if they can post some informational things about us (check this Friday's paper 1/6/06).

Lets make this first rehearsal a strong one to set the tone for the new year.........

Bigger...Better....More Attitude......More Fun !!!

See y'all Friday.

The 20th Century Limited Drum and Bugle Corps has been part of the Town of Lloyd for years, and the town board got a chance at its last meeting to do something for the 50 member corps that marches in almost all town parades.  It will be in the St. Augustine's parade on Thursday, June 24 at 6 P.M.

Pete and Donna Maroldt of the drum and bugle corps told the town board that its outdoor evening practices at the St. Augustine's School have been halted because it was allegedly in violation of the town's 8 P.M. noise curfew.  The town board learned from a town code enforcement officer that it could approve exceptions, and did so for the corps, allowing the group to practice some evenings before the sun goes down.  It was a unanimous vote.  "You're legal!" Councilman Robert Gruner exclaimed.
